Payment Options‘How do I do, what I need to do, to make it work?’

This conference will help those responsible for managing mass fatalities, especially in establishing a temporary mortuary, understand the law and guidance on how to carry out this duty.

This is of particular interest to local authority emergency planning officers, emergency services personnel, those who would staff a mortuary and other key stakeholders.

With contributions from key authorities this event, the first of its kind to specifically address the subject, will clarify legislation and regulations, examine existing guidelines and enhance current understanding.

Speakers confirmed so far represent the Human Tissue Authority, the Coroners Service, Local Government, UK DVI and the Royal College of Pathologists. As other speakers are confirmed such will be added to this web page.

The conference programme will start at 10.30am however delegate arrival (and refreshments) commences at 9.30.

Community Resilience welcomes questions about any aspect of the establishment and operation of a temporary mortuary when managing mass fatalities (from delegates and non delegates alike) before this event. These will be analysed and passed to our expert speakers so that, so far as possible, practitioners concerns and queries are addressed on the day so that our aim of ‘How do I do, what I need to do, to make it work?’ is fulfilled.
